In a small bowl, whisk teriyaki sauce and syrup. Mix soy sauce, sake, sugar and ginger in a small bowl. Heat oil in a frying pan at medium high heat and place salmon in pan. If broiling, put the salmon in the prepared pan. Brush the salmon with the soy-sauce mixture.
